What do you enjoy most about wealth management?
Being able to see clients achieve their goals and objectives, no matter how big or small. It’s a really rewarding process to follow a strategy through from start to finish and see the positive impact it can have when it all comes together.
What’s the biggest challenge?
A lot of our everyday decisions are emotionally driven, and that’s the same on the financial front. In order to achieve the best possible outcome, it’s important to have an objective sounding board that can stick to the facts and offer a professional and objective view.
What do you love most about being part of Capital Partners?
Being able to come in each day and work with like-minded people, all working towards achieving the best possible outcome for our clients. This comes back to the values that drive the business and putting the interests of our clients first.
What quality of yours makes you suited to what you do?
When it comes to putting a strategy together, it’s important to know the values that are driving the desired outcomes. By getting to know the client and understanding what’s important to them, you are then able to piece together a measured approach tailored to their specific needs.
How should people think about their wealth?
Wealth is the vehicle that enables you to reach your goals and objectives. Even the best laid plans will have setbacks from time to time, so it’s also important to have a long-term approach. I see wealth to be part of the process, not the outcome and by having a disciplined, long term approach, you will giving yourself the greatest chance of success.
What do you love to do outside of work?
I really enjoy keeping fit and active. Most of my weekends through winter are consumed with football and during summer I’m usually pounding the pavement or cycling. Outside of this, I love exploring new café’s, bars and restaurants with friends.
What does your ideal holiday look like?
The beach, plenty of sunshine and my wife.
